How To Strip Stuffed Animals

Sometimes but throwing your clothes or laundry into the washing car isn't plenty to bosom tough stains.

On occasion a strip wash, which is a really deep clean, is necessary, and you might want to consider doing it with your kids' toys in the near time to come.

Ane mum has shared the disgusting results from washing her kids' bunnies using the strip wash method and it's incredible how much grime was hiding inside them.

Sharing before-and-after photos in the Mums Who Clean Facebook Group, she explained that the soft toys are washed regularly, but were notwithstanding and then muddied.

"Strip done the kids' bunnies today. These are cleaned almost weekly in a normal car launder," she wrote.

"Photos are before, the water later on the soak and after. So soft and fluffy, and smell great."

The recipe she used is:

two tspn borax powder
2 tspn washing soda
1/4 cup washing liquid (or powder)
The mum added that she used boiling hot water instead of tap water for the method

"Soak until water is cold then chuck in for a normal machine wash (I used hot cycle) with extra rinse, I likewise hang them within to dry," she wrote in the postal service.

In the before photos the bunnies wait a bit ratty and dirty, but they were absolutely filthy judging by what came out in the water.

The tub she soaked them in was full of brown, sludge-coloured water subsequently the soak, proving that despite weekly machine washes the bunnies weren't getting the clean they needed.

Other mums were diddled away past the strip launder and were inspired to exercise the same.

"I would gag seeing what comes out of my son's blanket and his jelly cat bunny. Recollect I'm gonna do it though," wrote one mum.

Another added, "All their cute niggling noises are dorsum to pink hehe then fluffy. What a smashing task."

"I definitely need to exercise this our bunnies are looking a picayune yucky even after a wash," commented another mum.

"Omg I've never washed my girl's bunnies I'm going to vomit I take to launder them asap," wrote one mum.

One adult female asked, "How did you go them and then fluffy again?" and the original affiche replied that she air dried the soft toys and then fluffed them up by hand when they were dry.
